I am still working on the Ghostbusters HQ.

Was almost done with The Alien lego moc but then it fell over so it went in a box as I just could not be arsed trying to work out how to rebuild it.

Having fun with the GB though. Seem to have been at it for ages..

As promised heres some pics and thoughts about the Lepin Sopwith Camel.
Thanks for the review. Looks as good as I expected - very tempted now to get one.

Not so surprised about the problems with the string; seems these "miscellaneous" pieces are where Lepin's quality control can be lacking. I am a bit surprised to read about those hook pieces breaking though - that's unusual.

By the way, how big is that wingspan?

Incidentally, since there are a few posts asking for seller recommendations, here's a link to a Reddit thread that gives monthly updates on just this.

https://www.reddit.com/r/lepin/comments/7ukhv8/ali...

(That should link to February 2018)

Worth a look - if only to note the difference between lepinbrick Store and LEPINBRICKS Store.

There's not a copy for the original Ecto 1, just the one from the new movie. Was lucky and picked up the Lego version years ago.

I have bought my Falcon from a dude on that forum called Jeremy. Gets a ton of good feedback. He shipped mine in four separate bags to avoid customs. Should be here this week.

+1 for Jeremy, I've ordered a few sets from him this year and all arrived safely, slightly cheaper than Aliexpress

Got my SaturnV at Christmas, apart from one slightly chewed and mis-shapen brick it assembled like a dream.
Surprised/impressed by that. I have the actual Lego one and it's one of the more complex/detailed and tight fitting regular Lego builds. If Lepin were going to put a foot wrong I would have guesses that set.

One of the 'cups' that attach to the bottom of mine is simply too lose to connect properly, and that's on a legit Lego one!

My first time. He's split the huge Falcon into four bags so not sure if they will all turn up in one go. Also coming via Royal mail, a first for me as all my Aliexpress stuff came via DHL.

The store I bought from was: https://www.aliexpress.com/store/1083115?spm=a2g0s...

Item was released by UK customs yesterday so expect it any day now.

My 911 GT3 RS arrived yesterday. Took 8 days from ordering to my door. Which I think is amazing!

Quality looks good and looking forward to beginning tonight.

Wingspan is 50cm. Pictures don't do the size of it justice. Its big... The hook bits just are very flimsy and trying to tie the string and the pressure from the rubber bands made them bend and snap off
