I finished the Bugatti.
I did an hour or two most days and found it quite relaxing.
There were a couple of bits missing, a fixing peg and small spacer. Nothing major but annoying all the same.
The steering/gearbox doesn’t operate well but I’m unsure if that’s a fault of the kit or my building skill. I suspect a combination of both as I was more concerning on actually building it than making sure it all worked while I was building it (if you know what I mean)
Overall the kit was fine and fitted together well. Some of the smaller body parts aren’t very secure and drop off at a touch. Not sure if that’s a quality fault or they all do that.
Would I get another one? I’d have to say it’s unlikely. It was an enjoyable experience and passed a bit of spare time but the fact you can’t touch it without bits falling off really puts me off.
Does genuine Lego have the same problems or is ‘you get what you pay‘ for correct in this instance?

I'm an avid Lego Technic collector but I'm new to this thread, so this may have already been answered in the last 100 pages.
How safe is it to order anything from the Lepin website directly?
I've seen some tempting models but I'm reluctant to put my credit card details in if it is not 100% kosher.
Also, are there any recommendations of where else an order can be placed?
Thanks.

Reminds me of this i got about 3 years ago. Look at it the wrong way and bits fall off. Really fragile!
Try using little bits of blu-tac in places were needed instead of glue. works for me.
