Yep the UCS Falcon is minifig scale and the Speeder is not to scale. ie well over (big)smile
The scale size for most of the UCS sets are all over the place.

This will maker me sound like a massive sad nerd but Im looking to get back into miniature wargaming(yeah ,I know. Made the mistake of binning it all in 2009!) & I want to try large scale rules first without having to shell out £££££ for figures,so I thought I would try legos as units. So where would be the best place to get individual 4x2 blocks? As Im going to try ACW first I thought 100 blue,100 grey, some brown for the horses, and some 2x3 for generals.
Although this might be a bit small so maybe 8x4 & 4x4,if they exist

Also how would you tell the size of some sets. I like the look of this

A "true" minifig scale Falcon is huge. A metre wide and 10,000 pieces. Wonder if Vonado will do a set. biggrin

For the Wargamer there a lots of bulk brick sellers on AliExpress.

Has anyone spotted a version of the Sian in something other than GREEN, I'd really love one in black or grey.

It shoots nerf bullets, 630 odd pieces, so bigger than you would imagine!!

I got it from Yourwobb here

https://www.yourwobb.com/products/mork-023004-0230...

I don't have any more pics sorry. It's a good model overall but really only for display, as no play features other than steering. Not the most solid of builds either, but for the price it's good.

well, the motor and battery box for my Lepin Osprey have arrived so i guess i'll be trying to disassemble the beastie to install these

fingers crossed as the model looks brilliant, just can't do anything until it's powered up
where from, how much, was it worth it?

Not black or grey, sorry. But the only other colour I've seen.

um, some random Aliexpress shop, that had already sold a fair few of them, less than £50 delivered

was NOT made clear that the set did not include the motors, so a bit miffed. they cost an extra £16, so still pretty damn cheap.

looks 100% pukka. very impressive build. will see whether i can get the motor in!

Off the back of some recommendations here, I'm giving Your WOBB a go, and have the mini Saturn V and tower for £16.03 on the way. My 6 year old is "doing" Neil Armstrong at school, so it should be a good little project to do with him.

well, it would have helped if i had ordered the right size battery box. d'oh.

managed to modify the osprey to fit it, looks a bit st but it's a display model, so not much of an issue really

all functions work pretty well, considering it's a lepin version of a flawed lego design!

all in all, i'm pretty happy to have spent £60 or so for a rare (discontinued) kit, rather than the £1,000s the scalpers are asking for on ebay.

Wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction.

I would love a large model of an aircraft carrier or battle ship... think Nimitz or Ark Royal, or HMS Hood maybe.

Have spotted a couple MOCs for Bismarck and Japanese carriers.

Are they anything about and if so, are they recommended?
