For the guys that use yourwobb, how long do you normally wait for dispatch or delivery information? I order some small stuff on the 6th Feb and not heard anything yet except thanks for your order email.

Cheers.

Paul.
Chinese New Year has meant a lot of the places have taken 2 weeks off and also stopped taking new orders.

If your order didn’t get shipped before they took holiday, you may have an additional few weeks wait on your hands until they come back.

So the Titanic now complete too. My fat fingers had trouble tying off the funnel stays so have left them off!

Def one of the coolest models I have done. Great value, great build. I enjoyed this one!

Really pleased you enjoyed it! The pictures (and your's are better than mine) don't really do it justice do they?
It a building brick set but also definitely a detailed scale model within the confines of its medium. As I mentioned before in that respect it is definitely the equal of the Lego Saturn V.

I also have fat fingers and for the Funnel stays just used two tweezers, the 'waxy' nature of the thread made it quite easy in the end.

Can anyone recommend any aircraft kits? Ideally a C17 or Tornado?

Has anyone ever seen a version of 'The Office' set. I know they've been on IDEAS atleast twice.

At the moment ordering the loose bricks from Vonado or Yourwoob might be the only option.
Vonado have the Community common room set though so maybe they'll pick up The Office too.

There was talk of a Frasier appartment set, which would be brilliant, obviously depending if you like Frasier...

Is it just me or has anyone else had shipping issues with Yourwobb? I ordered a GT3 RS nearly a week ago based on positive reviews. I've had no shipping notification and when I contacted them I just got a vague email saying that it will be shipped soon. Not impressed to be honest.

Shipping does seem to take ages (well between order and notification) but my eldest works in China - he has only just gone back to work in the last few days post the NY break. Maybe something to do with that - he did say a lot of people take up to a month off.

Yup, ordered some stuff a couple of weeks ago which was finally shipped Saturday and got tracking information over the weekend. Think it's been Chinese NY so everything is delayed... It's also coming from China so i'll be a bit patient wink

GT3 RS finally arrived from Yourwobb. This is the first lepin/king set I've bought and It looks to be pretty good quality so hopefully no problems. I put off building my genuine Lambo Sian until I got this so a few busy evenings ahead.

Nice one! I found it a bit of a marathon although I really liked the way the pdk gearbox and paddles came together.

There's also an excellent Stratos MOC build using the same kit I want to try.

Did the larger package come through import charge free ok?
How much was it?
I just got two of the smaller speed champion kits as a test purchase, took two weeks to arrive. I got the Subaru Impreza and the Mini. £7.50 each a bargain!

Yes, no additional charges. Total cost with delivery was just under £70 and took just over 3 weeks to get here which I think was down to Chinese New year. Yourwobb use SF express, their tracking system is a bit vague but if you put the number into trackmeeasy you get a lot more info.

Edit, just noticed it's now under £65.

I've built the stratos, instructions were on rebrickable. It's a really cool replica of iconic car and a great way to increase the value for money from sets without a B model.
I don't know if i built it wrong but the back end clamshell seemed off by one stud when compared to the wheels. You can tell that the build and instructions aren't as well thought out as proper Lego products. Other than that, very highly recommended.

Great to hear, trouble is there's so many good models tempting me. I love the idea of a flat 12 917k to sit alongside the V4 919 from Cada.

Just built the unofficial Subaru Impreza Speed Champ. Really nice little car.
Did a stop motion build video for it too. Havent exported it yet, but not sure how to show a video on here. Can I link to a Facebook post?

I'm about half-way through my build of the Stratos - only really get the chance to work on it for a couple of hours every other sunday due to other commitments, so it's been a bit of a slow burner for me.
Just looking forward to completing it
