Since Xmas I have purchased from Aliexpress and YourWobb.
Aliexpress was really quick for some of the order (could it have come from an Eu depot maybe). The rest came from China and took a month. YourWobb will take about a month. They seem to take ages to notify about dispatch - but everything I have had from them has been exceptionally well packed and only the Saturn V launch pad had pieces missing. Yourwobb has a quick response time for enquiries, and a tracking system which takes some effort to decipher!!
I got what seemed like a stty email from Aliexpress because I had not confirmed delivery of the items - I did not know i was expected to do so. I suppose a bit like Ebay when you give feedback, but the "reminder" was very abrupt.
From both, all good to be fair, just be prepared for a long lead time.
I don't know if I'm remembering correctly or if I mis-read, so take the next bit with a massive pinch of salt, but: I was lead to believe somehow that they don't actually get paid until delivery is confirmed, as I said this may be in-accurate though.Aliexpress was really quick for some of the order (could it have come from an Eu depot maybe). I've made a couple of AliExpress purchases in recent months for various low value odds and sods without any problems, so I've taken a calculated gamble on a Legoalike Mini Cooper.
The reviews are positive and the seller has a decent record so I'm remaining positive. And considerably cheaper than anything on eBay
One week delivery - ish.... I received a VW Beetle kit, not the Mini. The reviews are positive and the seller has a decent record so I'm remaining positive. And considerably cheaper than anything on eBay
Seller has been very apologetic and I've agreed to buy the Beetle as well with a discount code they offered me, and they are resending the Mini so I can mark both orders received at the same time when it arrives.
I've not opened the bags yet, but everything looks in order, and the build manual is almost like a genuine Lego document with the cover swapped.

How to get two sales in one!I've had a couple of motorbikes for my Dad to build, a Harley Fat Boy, which he's done and looks good. I have one that looks like either a Goldwing or a BMW K1600, but not given him that yet.

The Beetle was in my wishlist anyway, along with a 3 wheel Morgan and the blue Mustang - would the seller have known I had some of their other items in there? I know on eBay it doesn't work like that, but I'm getting lots of promo messages from sellers that are in my wishlist, unless that is automated by the platform rather than the individual seller.
But for the relatively low price and friendly enough service I really don't feel I've been had over.
[quote=ads]Anyone tried ordering with the original box from Yourwobb?
I would like to get one of either the Porsche or Bugatti as a present and so it would look better in a printed box. Worried about import tax etc.
Cheers[/quote
All the models I have received from Yourwobb have all come in a plain cardboard box with all bags and instructions stuffed in ,have seen a few other sites say box inc but not at as cheap as YW, Good reliable supplier and communicates well .

Is "Tsunami Blocks" a brand/product/seller anyone has already tried?
https://tsunamiblocks.com/products/classic-morgan-...
Keeps popping up on Facebook etc. and I'm not normally one for the cheap toys you see advertised there but the Morgan does look brilliant.
Is this a product in and of itself or are they re-selling a super cheapy off Ali-express?
EDIT: I have answered my own question and found exactly the same thing on Ali-express for £12.50 delivered. Going to give it a punt!

I've just ordered one, I think from this link:https://www.aliexpress.com/i/1005002101035936.html
It went through at £14.87, which will end up being a Birthday present for me from someone when it comes in a month or so...

The wife wanted to treat me to a set for my birthday, but didn’t know where to buy from. After 6 joooooy builds, I now have an actual Lego 911!
I’m tempted to buy the cheaper version to see how different they are
If as in cheaper version you mean the Speed Champions version I would recommend buying I have a lot of Speed Champions myself and they look great just bought the Turbo and still need to build it.I’m tempted to buy the cheaper version to see how different they are
