Had the Gingerbread house and London skyline arrive from Ali but I'm suppose to keep them for Christmas. Apparently the children might like a turn at building something rolleyes

Maybe I'll get these Elite-Dangerous spaceship sets for myself.

The Porsche was Lepin, although they aren't around anymore. You may still be able to find one for sale although prices have certainly crept up - it was £55 about four years ago.

They've gone up a little, but not too bad.

Haven't used this shop myself but it has a reasonable reputation on the lepin reddit.

I did one of these Spitfires with my boy last night. He's doing WW2 at school, and it was a nice hour or so of quiet activity.
I had no idea even Cobi were getting knocked off now!

This should keep me busy. Just need to get the Bismarck and Scharnhorst out of the way first.

They aren’t just bricks. There’s locking pins that you twist in to each block to join them together, to add strength. You build from the ground up and eventually the legs merge into the body to make a single piece. They are quite expensive, but a good challenge. My mum and niece managed to put together a Labrador

And unlike the real thing, they don't need walking in the rain or taking out for "toilets" while you're trying to do something else or watch TV (2 dogs, out 3 times in 15 minutes last night).

Hi All,

Hoping you can help. I’m looking to try Lepin / alternative for the first time and I’m after the DB5.

I’ve had a read through the thread. Saw a mention of the Lepin Reddit and had a look through there. I’ve tried to do my research but wanted to check first with you all if this looks a good buy? Store had been around a few months. Had good reviews and price seems good.

Thanks in advance and hoping to be a part of the thread long term as thinking about the Mustang and a few others as well.

Not many orders or reviews (though it's got 5 stars, they could be from friends/family, sorry, I'm not a very trusting person). So, I'd say proceed with caution. You should be able to find other sellers with a longer history at assess against.

I searched by the Lego product number, then sorted by number of orders. Then I picked one with a decent number of orders at a reasonable price compared to the others.

Mine arrived at the weekend too - so have already wrapped it and will look forward to seeing Mr's C's face when she opens it on xmas day - it almost looks like our dog too (Border Collie) so should go down really well
