Anyone risked the at-at yet from mould king? 250 vs 750 it's alot cheaper
No - but in 2017 I did buy the Lepin clone of the UCS falcon and it's basically identical to the real one. From memory that was about £130 versus the £600 or so for the real one that at the time you really couldn't get. I've looked at the AT AT but for me £250 is pushing it for a copy - even if the original is a crazy price.

Looks like some guy in France designed the Starfighter he's on Bricklink and it appears the Chinese have ripped off his design. No surprise there .... I'm trying to contact him to see if the plans are available for purchase but no idea how Bricklink works it doesn't look very user friendly !Narcisus said:

er, no from a generic seller on aliexpress
but he provided me with the wrong instructions (Technic version of it) and refused to provide the right ones (maybe didn't have them?)
aliexpress weren't interested in a dispute despite photos proving its for the wrong set
ended up paying the original creator for the instructions via brick link

Hello, I’ve been a long time lurker on this thread since 2017/18 when you could get a UCS Millennium Falcon for just over a £120 (Yes I should have got one then). Well after years of umming and ahhing I finally decided to make a purchase of my first fake lego.
In 2020 I was looking forward to the Technic Osprey 42113 announcement, however this was pulled due to the gearbox or military connotation issue. Spurred on by the person who posted a picture several pages I ordered one.
So after about 9 hours of work, here is my King 61113 Osprey and its quite a large and impressive display piece.
For those fellow lurkers who are undecided, please find my review below.
Ill be honest and admit I don’t understand Ali Express, so purchased from Joy Toy World, which was recommended on here. Apparently, it’s the sister site to Yourwobb (also recommended on here) the same discount codes work on both sites. On Reddit it explains its something to do with not all the clone brands being allowed to be retailed on the same site.
I purchased and the kit was delivered 8 days later by royal mail with no charges to be paid. It arrived in a small brown box the size of a loaf of bread and contained a full size instruction manual (230 pages) and stickers (these haven’t been applied to the model).
I expected it to be quite bad but apart from a single deformed piece (an axle that started in cross profile before going flat half way down its length) all bits were present and correct. It has assembled into quite solid model.
Now the negatives,
When I originally opened the box it had quite an aroma, which did disperse overnight. I cant tell you if the individual bricks had any smell because I assembled it post covid and still haven’t got my sense of small back.
Given that this does exist as a genuine set the instructions were a bit cryptic in places. The official instructions are 344 pages versus 230 and it obvious they had cut the odd step out. You would be advised to insert and axle and gear cog into the model only for the next step to show you adding another gear to the same axle which meant you would have to pull it back out to get the gear in. Also the 1:1 pictures of the axle you needed for that step weren’t to scale or of the same colour piece required. None of this was critical but it was just a bit irritating and if you put it in front of a Lego newbie it could cause them problems.
This is obviously a copy of Lego bricks, it is very good but not perfect Id say about 98%. With technic that extra few precent makes the difference, it is notable that the finishes on the gear cogs aren’t as good as the genuine Lego item. This translates into more friction when you are spinning two gears together. For this reason I’m not going to try to motorise this set (especially with the gearbox issues). There were also some issues with grip on some connectors and some of the beams had very slight lumps on them which caused occasional problems with the landing gear until it was filed off.
Overall that may have seemed a bit negative, but I am happy with my model, which cost me £42 back in October. I wouldn’t by fake Technic again because the tolerances just aren’t quite there yet and the whole point of Technic is that the gears work.
I can see myself buying a large creator building set in the future and would like to thank everybody else for posting their purchases here.

That looks great! Especially with the Top Gun decals. Have you got a link? I can only find generic F14s on AliExpress…Not lego prices either.

There’s a F-18 (I presume from the new film) as well.
We’ve made shuttles, tanks and spitfires from COBI.
