The LEPIN "LEGO" for non sensitive types
Discussion
I finished the Xing Bao 312T over the weekend, absolutely awesome model and super fun to build.
Just a couple of snaps one showing the rather lovely Lego Flat 12 and the final one with its 1/43 little brother to give a sense of scale to this brilliant model (the stickers are temporary and will be replaced with RoscoPC's).
RoscoPC is an absolute Lego genius/magician.

Can you get all of Rosco's models?Just a couple of snaps one showing the rather lovely Lego Flat 12 and the final one with its 1/43 little brother to give a sense of scale to this brilliant model (the stickers are temporary and will be replaced with RoscoPC's).

Do you have a link/how much did it cost?
I was looking to price up the 641 - one of my favourite F1 cars of all time.

The 312T in the picture is the Xingbao 03023 Red Blitz, it is a supposedly 'licensed' boxing of RoscoPC's Ferrari 312T.Do you have a link/how much did it cost?

The story I have read online is that Xingbao licensed two of RoscoPC's designs, the Ferrari and the Eagle Weslake (Xingbao 03022 Blue Sonic) but never actually paid him for the design despite even providing a bio of him in the instructions.
Both kits can easily be found on eBay for about £70 which makes them quite extraordinary value for money (they are both circa 2500 piece kits).
To make things right with RoscoPC you can then purchase the original design which includes the very accurate & high quality stickers he makes.
The models themselves are quite extraordinary and RoscoPC is a brilliantly talented designer / engineer. They are 1/8 scale and modelling works of art to be honest with almost every detail included and beautifully functional suspension modelled down to working Anti Rolls Bars.
I'm probably going to buy a couple more of each and then buy some other of RoscoPC's instructions and see how far I can get on say the Brabham BT46 which has broadly the same colours or make/mod a Ferrari 312 T2/T3/T4.
I would not expect any other of RoscoPC's kits to be licensed so the only route to get the 640/641 would be to buy his design and then take the Rebrickable route which would probably cost around £700. Certainly expensive but what a beautiful model you would have!
Any other questions ask away.

I did price up the 640/641 and it did indeed come close to £700. Much as I'd like one, I don't want one that much.
£70 is a bargain!

The search algorithm assumes a default of £10 shipping per store, I had a look at delivery info on 20 odd of the Brickowl stores on one search and based on how little you're buying from most, I think the average is probably around 2 quid. Pricing up the 640 with that is £374. The other issue is the sheer number of orders needed.
edit: I didn't notice the search still isn't finding 100% of the parts - also there's a black bush that only comes up from one shop asking £12! a piece x4, that can be found elsewhere used for a few quid.
I've been looking to get something to build that doesn't need painting and was eyeing up the Xingbao models - I've ended up buying that Cobi Vickers Wellington set. I'm now sorely tempted to try building some of RoscoPC's 1:27 designs, some of them price up from ~£25.
edit 2: Been taking a closer look as I'm pricing up Rosco's 1:27 MOCs - in case anyone sees this and really wants one of his big MOCs other than the 312 or Westlake - take no notice of what Rebrickables estimates, sign up to Bricklink and Brickowl and add the parts to wishlists there;
pay attention to parts with colour errors you may need to subsitute for other colours and add to wishlists/carts manually, also the cost of parts some of the Rosco MOCs use a 2006 item for the rear tyres - they can be swapped for newer items with Technic or Michellin logos... far cheaper. Bricklink appears the best bet, go to buy your wishlist, use the filters as required then auto select (untick the box in the following prompt). If anything isn't allocated from the wanted items tab on the left, you will find used items available if you search the item directly. Mileage may vary, but I believe the big 640 can be done for under £200 quid inc. delivery from under a dozen stores.

Also has anyone seen a decent copy of the Creator 911, I can only find a slightly different one but want to get the 'proper' one
The proper one? Here you go:https://www.lego.com/en-gb/product/porsche-911-102...
There's only one proper one.

Hi,
I decide to try some not so famous bricks. So got this off fleabay for 70£. A lot of bricks for not much cash. Arrived today. The sticker sheet was a bit bent. Will see how it goes.
Well, I managed to finish this "king of moulds"... The quality of bricks and instructions is a lot to be desired for. It has a remote control and two control blocks, but only one can be used at a time. It has a lot of power leads that are hanging about and have no fixings. It steered one way and would not as the gears would skip. Also some parts would not fit and were loose.I decide to try some not so famous bricks. So got this off fleabay for 70£. The suspension is also a bit of a joke.

My first foray into non-Lego arrived from Amazon today. Reviews are mixed but I’ll report when these little Spead Chimpiuns are done!
Back to the future, Mad Max and James Bond Esprit? Maybe?P.S. "agile and flexible dynamic and excellent demeanor" is exactly how my wife would describe me.
