Just finished this... some of the engineering was a little tenuous , the engines seem to hold together based on a single stud!, But it was only C$44 delivered.

it had 2 skids at the front, but nothing at the rear, so seemed to sit nose up until I added a third 'foot'

This arrived from www.joooooy.com today for approx. £155 delivered. Its the first non-lego kit I've purchased so hoping I won't be disappointed.

I don't think you will be. I've found them excellent. Only real difference I've noticed, is that sometimes the colours aren't quite as rich/vibrant. Otherwise, not bad at all,

I fancy that but the finished size stopped me buying it! Don’t know where it would go

So far so good, honestly can’t tell it’s not Lego. Instructions and build quality is excellent. 2 bags in (another 22 to go) and 923 pieces gets you this far….

My latest build, went together ok, though the friction pullback motor doesn’t seem to work( wow, was looking forward to that…), but for 45c$ it’s not bad, the frogeye is 1:18, just to give you a sense of the scale

I think the wheel arches don’t look accurate, as the series 1 &.2 had a more slab sided look, but I guess there are limitations to what can done.

Faux UCS Slave1 and a UCS snowspeeder to do next…

started this one at 8pm last night, and just finished, its a monster

45 bags that were numbered, but not in any meaningful way, as the parts were required from bags randomly, rather than sequentially, so a lot of hunting around was needed

As it arrived

once released....its amazing how they get it in there - 45 bags!

this thing is 18 inches from top to bottom!

My fingers hurt now!

this was 110 c$ delivered, its pretty amazing for the cash.

Oh dear I've discovered the super-MOC sets on jooooy and by proxy the other super-size ones - the absolute daddy sounds like the 60k piece Notre Dame.

Lots of very cool ones though, my wallet won't thank me laugh

Huh - probably shouldn't have posted this in the non-Technic Lego forum first... didn't want to upset people. Anyhoo...

My birthday present has arrived from Aliexpress.

Same scale and creator as my Lepin F-14. Thinking of making a Top Gun Maverick display with these bad boys...

Like the Tomcat, it has lots of functionality. Retractable undercarriage, moving flaps/tails, vectoring exhaust nozzles, weapons bay doors. Very cool.
