Love the fact that if you change the coloured motor ends you even get a new blue coloured motor body sticker to go with it too!

Love it - looks great!

Does the ESC literally come with it or did you order separately?

I really need some new brushless motors but there seems to be a real lack of mid range ones at the moment. I don't need £100 stuff!

Can still get a Speed Passion V3.0 for ~£35 or some HobbyKing motors ~£30 but not much else!

The Corally outlet has a few but no 7.5T-9.5T, which feel like the sweet spot for 2WD offroad to me!

No it was just an EsC I liked the look of from RC Mart, so added it to the order.

Rc mart delivery was superb too, ordered on the 31st, shipped the same day from China as they upgraded the delivery to fedex for free due to the Covid issues with Hong Kong post and it was delivered today, 5 days from China is ace! And they put the customs value down as a low amount too so that there was no duty to pay!

That's interesting as I often eye up RCMart but they always seem surprisingly expensive to me! Might have another gander...

I do find HobbyKing, especially when they have UK stock, a really solid go-to for most things. Got some bargain LiPos and other bits from there (Motors, escs, servos, etc). The sale can be great.

You do have me checking T2 for sale stock updates every day though!

Really I found them cheaper than just about anyone!

Worked out at about £80 for the motor and £40 for the esc !

Surely the motor is more like £90 by FX + postage (or included?) so knocking on £100? I love it but that's about triple my usual brushless budget frown

ESC looks good value though... What continuous current is it? I've bought more eBay Chinese blue 120A (cough) ESCs because I am THAT cheap!

Have some 'good stuff' tucked away for the TM2V2 or DM2 build though.

Might even drop an old Novak mongoose sensored brushless 380 (!) combo into one of the R5s as that's new, boxed and not doing much. A 'lightweight' special!

Acquired this wee helicopter yesterday (I’m not far from Time Tunnel Models). Had a few flights round the lounge and braved a short fly round the garden this afternoon but the wind eventually got up too much.

Got a week off work so something to keep me entertained in lockdown. It’s basically a rebranded eachine e129 that appears on some of the Chinese marketplaces. Things have clearly moved on since I had a Blade 120SR a few years back, no fly bar now and altitude hold to make it slightly easier. Still not really for complete beginners but certainly easier to get to grips with than helis that have gone before it.

Love the Impreza, that's the 1/10 right? I had a 1/8th years ago for Christmas (TGX Mk.1 I think) which got nicked from the shed. Few years ago I managed to find a new body unpainted so have it on my HPI WR8 chassis

Yeah, Tamiya TT02, it has been run but mostly a display model. Got it a couple of years ago as a fun project. Had a TT01 Impreza as a kid so a bit of a nostalgia trip. I do like a WRC Impreza, just wish they did a McRae version too, they all seem to be Burns.

This thread is perilous, I've just about finished upgrading my SCX10, and got the HPI Nitro ready to run again (new receiver and paired to my spektrum, which is such a massive improvement from the old days of having several different radios/crystals to swap) so all was well...

And then a TXT-2 fell into my basket and is on it's way to me biglaugh I remember hankering after a TXT-1 back in the day, and €320 seems pretty good as they're RRP appears to be about $700 from what I can see, not sure what the Euro/UK RRP was.

I think then I should have everything I need (in terms of types of cars), but I'm already planning on rescuing the Blazing Star I've still got at my parents and having thoughts about converting that to a Top Force FRP/Carbon chassis set...

There ought to be an RC Anonymous. I was clean for so long but I've relapsed!

Frog? I'd still like a Subaru Brat, preferably the blue edition... just not sure what I would do with it!

Bought a Schumacher KF off Oople the other day so now have a Team C TM2V2 and KF to get up and running!

Hopefully the tracks will be open this year and I can get back to some running! 4 x 2WD off road of (older) competition spec and nowhere to run 'em!

Will be letting some of my pan cars go I think... 5 of those still doing nothing! 2 boxed and unbuilt (Kyosho Plazma LM and Tamiya RM-01 Porsche 956)!

Yeah a Tamiya Frog of sorts, I usually build with a scorcher body on top but used a frog body instead for a change. smile

My mate had the Frog back in the day another the Hornet.
I had the Brat., which i thought was way cooler than both until you hit a kerb and spent the remainder of the weekend gluing it back together,

Found this old Nikko F10 Rhino which was a gift to me in 1987, broke one of the rear dampers and it got thrown in the loft 30 odd years ago.

Dug it out and lockdown restoration needed. Will junk all the internals and get a new speed controller and radio set. Came with a 540 motor, not sure if it still works.

Be nice to get it going.

Managed to swap a broken rear hub on the Firebolt DM and get that running, fit wing, wheels, tyres, a servo and motor (8.5T) to the KF and sort out my pit box... finding at least one LiPo swollen (doh but always kept in a LiPo safe bag).

Still some bits to do on the KF to get it ready and then I'll start on the TM2V2. Why do the heads of M3 button/countersunk bolts always seem to get chewed up? Need to drill some out of various places at some point!

Once they are all running... might start the VBC Firebolt DM2 build that's sitting in it's box, unopened in 3-4yrs!
