Excellent thread resurrection as I finally got some 1S packs, so will get fiddling with an R5 or two in the coming weeks. Still never built the RM-01 or Plazma!!!
Indeed I thought it needed doing with the arrival of my Fantom!

When we are allowed out we must organise a PH RC cars meet and race too!

Now there's an idea... I haven't got anywhere to drive my pan cars down here!

I know we drove past this place the other day whilst working in Cardiff!

It got me thinking that a place like that, for £15k per year rent would be quite fun to set up as an RC meet and shop type of place.

Of course Cardiff is to far out, but got me that a plan could be quite easily hatched if a group of us got together and put in a bit of cash each!

It could become a new PH SS RC Model meet up!

We could make a club of sorts out of it too!

I would love to build something along the lines of the Bike Shed in London, with a bar and burger place inside it, and a couple of tracks for RC Meets and racing Calendar with regalar racing and meets.

Sounds great to me - Always wanted an industrial unit to play with both 'real' cars and RCs!

Probably not easy to make money though...

Amazingly this was three years ago!

We still need a pistonheads RC track!

And I never did anything with the RC12 and sold the Tamiya and Kyosho... Only to end up with two, original Tamiya Porsche 956 RMs!

My dream RC car as a kid. Got the blue end bell Endurance motor in it as well... Will never be run, of course!

The second one is shabbier and maybe, just maybe, that will one day see a tennis court or alike.

I'd quite like to replicate the GRP chassis decks in CFRP and create a 'modern' replica using the re-release RM01 parts.
