Do some of these rarer/specials get good/accurate wheels?
My issue with many is the generic and inappropriate wheels used on normal models.
Ie, those above all look accurate to the subject matter, but the Alfa Quad I was looking at yesterday had the same ones as the Honda S2000 earlier in the thread.
My son has about 100 cars etc now… not bought many for years but he picked up a load of illuminous monster trucks and cars for £20 yesterday in a box set.

I've been picking up the odd one or two of these although prices online vs in shops differ a fair bit and handy in the Entertainer they are 3 for 2. So if I happen to be in there with the kids I happen to buy ones I fancy! haha
Decent little haul.
This is all of them, nothing spectacular.

The premiums get more detail, better wheels and rubber tyres. My issue with many is the generic and inappropriate wheels used on normal models.

Ooo rubber tyres. That’s a bit posh
All the ones I buy invariably end up through the shark loop, down the long track into the sand pit, or other play events that incur quite some grief… so certainly not one for rubber tyres haha!
We found this one about 5 years ago at Harewood House in the play park. It’s a 2003 vintage car.
The most intriguing part is the spoiler. Insert thumb from behind and it gets trapped, and the leading edge is like a knife so removing the digit takes some care.
Don’t ask how I found that out the day after I gave it to my 2yo
Glow in dark… seemingly not as good as 1980s glow in the dark stuff. These seem to “go off” after 5 mins rather than what seemed much longer when I was younger.

Anyone been on Mattel Creations lately and seen they can't ship to the UK? Just looked now and there's a message that pops up.
ETA - Apparently a bug somewhere that's stopping them shipping anywhere, should be resolved I found in a thread somewhere.

Today I visited the shop that I mentioned above and was not disappointed .
Some of the prices were eye watering but others pretty good. Pictures of My purchases later , but link to His fb market place ad is this

The shop is called “Top Gear” and the owner is a collector too.
