Just found this on Youtube, quite an impressive layout, and the video is the view from the front of the train as it runs around the track:

This is the model train layout of Mr. Hans-Peter Porsche. He is the grandson of Ferdinand Porsche, the automobile designer of the famous VW Beetle. Since his childhood, Hans-Peter Porsche collected tin toys from Marklin, from Bing and from other manufacturers.

The Hans Peter Porsche Museum really is worth a visit if you are in the area. Just outside Salzburg on the German side in a small village called Anger. We were there last summer. An impressive collection of cars too:
