Ok it has some inaccuracies for the elitists but most normal people would never notice.
The nice thing about this model is that the missus wont mind in being a centre piece in the house as it is not a random fighter jet. Bit more of an antique feel to it.

Please can you clarify "a base coat of Deck Tan and Raw Sienna acrylic oil paint dragged over the surface" .

You paint a light base colour. Once that has dried, lightly apply oil paint over the top and use the brush to expose the lighter colour underneath. This gives the wood effect and texture.
