Yep of course will do my best to get some videos up of the maiden run out!
And as it’s big enough to mount my Garmin Action cam on board we should get some action footage with speed and G metrics overlayed too!
Ended up watching some youtoob vids of these racing. There's no way I would be able to concentrate that hard for a whole race. I had trouble just watching the video!
Would be like karting, seems like a good idea, fun at first then becomes mental torture the more you do it! Super impressive little machines though.
I do wonder if RC racing has become too fast- was chatting to an old mate after sharing pics of my CAT build on facebook who I used to race 1/10 TC with, turns out he had had a go at getting back into it a few years ago, but said he couldn't cope with the crazy speeds that brushless and lipo had brought and it took some of the enjoyment out of it. I know most clubs run stock classes with sealed motors, but that's the other extreme of being a bit slow and boring.
