Looking for something to play with in the garden with the dogs as they seem to love chasing them..

Anything reasonable lithium powered less than £100?

Any of the FTX range are great fun and hobby grade. Spares are cheap and easily available.
Sub £100 you will be getting a "toy". Also, no need for lithium, NiMh are just as useable, plus you can buy twice as many batteries to play for longer.

Only buy from established shops.

FTX Carnage isn’t a bad shout - grab it anywhere, ebay or Amazon is fine - just buy it from a model seller.

We do it, here you go:

Thanks guys, so ftx only? I prefer longer running times from lithium without the faff of changing batteries as i’ll use for one charge then put away for a fair bit.

Last time i raced 1/10th electric off road it was all 1700 Panasonic and dogfighters ruled the roost so fancy seeing the difference in speed and longevity from lithium, are brushless quicker or just more reliable, dont even know what their usp is?

Thought it might be fun to build (ftx pre-built?) to as havent done that in eons...

https://www.rcgeeks.co.uk/blog/ftx-carnage-truggy-brushed-versus-brushless-comparison is a reasonable summary if the difference between brushed/brushless using the FTX models as a comparison.

A decent second battery from Hobbyking is only c £25 eg https://hobbyking.com/en_us/zippy-6000mah-2s2p-35c... plus the correct connector https://hobbyking.com/en_us/t-connector-plug-harne...

Last one I built was probably an original Hotshot (Tamiya) in the 80's so I can't really comment on kits
