Presumably indoors because they'd blow away if anyone sneezed. At least someone's found an alternative use for the new-TVR factory...

I thought those type of models had helium filled sections in them.

It looked like an advert and the title didnt make any sense. Plus you never typed any text. Just looked a bit dodge.
You arent normally that lazy, but I know what it is now.

At first glance I thought the thread was about scanning paperwork to PDF as a modern alternative to microfilm/microfiche.

Simpo Two is alluding to way that these models fly very slowly.

This is a microfilm model. Flight times can be thirty minutes plus.

Microfilm Models

Microfilm is made by pouring a cellulose dope based liquid onto water, which then sets and can be lifted off the water with a frame. The aircraft structure is built with materials around 1mm square, and a whole model weighs under 1.5 grams.

lol Well I hate it when people just post a link with no explanation so I took the trouble to copy/paste the title smile

GliderRider is right. I never tried microfilm, but built a lot of Keil-Kraft with varying degrees of success.
