Christmas Group Build?
Discussion
Great to see the variety and quality of finished builds!
Nearly three years after starting it I finally got the Hiace off the bench this morning and outside for some photos:
Sold new in the UK by Park Toys (Chorley area?) for £7.99.
Painted Austin-Rover sandalwood beige (from a Halford aerosol).
Nice to get it done at last. Only got two longer-term WIPs to finish now, plus a couple that I started recently.

Another really lovely job Spotted! Bet the kit designers loved that task! I'm really in to building the kit rather than replicating a subject these days (old nostalgic fart) and would love to do that Hiace.I do detect the cautious return of mojo dr_gn...don't give the Vulcan a chance to scare it off again!

Thanks GG. I imagine there are many different reasons why and ways we get enjoyment out of messing about with a few bits of plastic. I do like the build process, but rather than replicate something that already exists and may have already been built by numerous people beforehand, I get a lot of satisfaction out of creating something that existed as an image in my head. Also, I'm not always good at finishing things and it's very pleasing to actually complete a project of any sort....Gassing Station | Scale Models | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
