Decided it wasn't Mad Max enough, lengthened it and then there was this:

Apologies for poor images but have been dipping in and out of these since Christmas morning:

Delighted to come across the lovely MAC Horch - sharp parts, good fit with exceedingly fine p/e - though the Airfix 88 and tractor are showing their age - 1967 according to the Airfix Tribute forum - with lots of evidence of repaired damage to the tooling. It`s a classic from my childhood...anyone else remember the harbour attack set of vac formed base, Vosper MTB, Arado float plane and 88 with tractor? Can`t find reference to the set....was a birthday gift in 1980.

Paint, tracks and setting on spare Matchbox bases next....

A couple of Aussie ones in my collection, (1:18 scale):

Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase 1:

Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III:

Another Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III:

Ford Aust. had planned a GTHO Phase IV for 1973, they built 4 cars then a super car scare shutdown production.
Parts which were available for this model were released in a GT in a four door sedan & a Coupe known as a Falcon XA RPO83:

I couldn't resist the urge any longer bought an AutoArt Zonda R. 10% off at Mini Model shop plus 10% via quidco swung it for me.

It's certainly not a disappointment, unfortunately my photo skills can't match it for quality.

And with my whole collection

Blimey that zonda model is fabulous!

It really is stunning. The signature range from AutoArt is highly detailed. I've got 4 from the collection and I've not been disappointed with any of them.

Otto Models so it is Resin and not Die-cast,limited to 2500 examples and they all sold out. I picked it up for £60 at a toy fair yesterday managed to get £10 knocked off. The paint finish is like treacle and the interior details are stunning. I would personally grab one a.s.a.p as i can see this heading the same way as the E39 M5 Otto released, they fetch £100 + now and they retailed at £50 if you pre ordered. There is a few M3's on eBay starting at around £70 including shipping. This could be a potential bargain.

yikes

I have a long way to go, those are superb. Looked back in the gallery I suppose? Not looked at them all yet but amazing. Looked at the Iowa class battle ship yet? I thought it was real when I opened some of them....

Here is some of my 40k stuff I have painted over the years.

Out of interest what do you guys use to clean your Car Models?

I have a Burago 1/18 F40 that is in good nick but covered in dust, not sure how to get it back to looking good again.
