What scale are you after? There were very few models of TVRs made and none of the S2 that I'm aware of. I bought the SMTS V8S and modified it to resemble my S3c.

Hi all,

I'm new on this forum. Quite a classic car nut and enjoying classic rallies very much. Another passion of mine is modifying scale models.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

Welcome to the forum .... Fantastic stuff; you say that they are modified scale models -
More details please, what make are the base models and what scale are they?
I could ask what size the cat is instead smile.

And some more

But is based on these models
Those are fantastic models, some of those photos look like real cars. Are they kits and if so, what make?

Thanks. The cat is just your regular Westeuropean farm cat.

This Alfa is based on a 1:18 diecast from Minichamps. Almost all models I modify are based on regular 1:18 diecasts.

The red racer and the white rally car are based on the same Minichamps model.

Here is a 1:43 model

based on:

This one is 1:18 by Kyosho

And now

A kit 1:24 by Revell

Just modified the grill on this one and converted it from RHD to LHD.(and built it of course)

A 1:18 model from Otto

and hours and hours later (so many decals to draw)

A two door Morris 1:18 from Minichamps

is now a 4 door

Your work has to be among the best I've seen on here for model cars. Taking kits or OTB stuff and turning it into something special.

A couple of MG TC's (1:18) based on this Yatming model

Fairly straight forward

A bit more exciting

with double spare wheels

And even a bit wilder, converted into a PA Special supercharged

Some more 1:18 MGB's. Most of these are converted from RHD to LHD, have new wheels, interiors and some a roll cage and rally stuff.

And some MGA's (1:18 Revell).
The first one I made a couple of years ago

A Twincam

This is the real car on top of the Col du Turini with my MGB in the back (may 2013)

Just finised two Volvos:

First the PV544 for the Hornelandrally. Not based on an actual car.

And an Amazon 123 GT

Finally got my games room (almost) finished and glass shelves up to display my collection if models and lids, though I think I need more shelves as they're a bit crammed on and some still in boxes!!

You've some nice models there. And yes, a bit more shelve space is a good idea.
