Pretty much finished the Tamiya 1:24 Castrol TOM'S Supra! Just need to tidy up some areas (some decals were very brittle and tore so I'll have to finish them with paint, plus a couple of decals will need another coat of Micro Sol). Happy with it though considering I haven't built a racing car kit in about 10 years hehe

Next up is either a 1999 WRC Impreza, a NISMO Clarion GT-R LM or a JGTC Castrol Mugen NSX. Might give the NSX a miss for now as I've seen enough Castrol decals to last me a lifetime!

If you drive a Z4MCoupe you have to have at least:

The Kyosho 1/18 Z4MC
The Autoart 1/18 Z4MC GTR

..in your bookshelf.

Just arrived in the post; unfortunately no clear cover for it but it cost less than half price so I can't complain!

1994 Nissan 300ZX GTS (1:43 Kyosho)

First Kyosho model and the amount of detail they've crammed into a 1:43 is surprising.

Also waiting on a 1:18 AUTOart R32 Skyline Group A to arrive.

Hi there,

Spent some time this week rearranging my collection to fit in a few recent purchases. Need to make room for all the new additions I am planning in 2016.

Mixture of 1/43 and 1/18 models, mainly Le Mans and GT cars but some road cars in there as well.

Hope you like the pics.

Regards

Tim

In light of the new Star Wars film, here are some of my SW related models

Gentle Giant 1:6 scale Darth Vader from Empire Strikes Back, kneeling before the hologram of Emperor Palpatine.

Gentle Giant 1:6 scale Boba Fett.

Kotobukiya, I think 1:7 scale C3PO and R2D2 at the end of A New Hope.

Sideshow Collectibles, not sure about the scale. The only good thing about the Phantom Menace, dual of the fates between the Jedi and a Sith.

Master Replica 1:1 scale exact copy of Luke Skywalker's lightsaber from A New Hope. An iconic weapon it seems spanning the original trilogy, prequels and now sequels and something I wanted to own ever since seeing Luke get it handed to him by Obi Wan.

AUTOart 1:18 Nissan Skyline R32 GTR Group A finally arrived. Really impressed with this one.

Bit disappointing that you don't get a display stand unless you shell out for the 'Special Edition' one but not too big a deal when I can get a stand separately. I wanted the Calsonic one instead but everywhere selling it for a reasonable price was out of stock so I opted for the Reebok car.

MDMA - Wow wow wow I had that exact Tamiya RC car many years ago (18 years ago). Was bought for me by my parents from Harrods...of all places. It was a show car in the Toy department. I see you have customised the interior. Best body shell Tamiya ever made. Brings back good memories. After buying it I started down the slippery slop of R/C racing.

Lost the car and all my other R/C stuff about 11 years ago in a house fire. Came across recently a 1/18 diecast version of it that I had to have.

Can anyone guide as to the differences between the standard old Tamiya R/C road cars "TT02" and the "TT01E" Chassis

Cheers

Wow, planes aren't normally my thing when it comes to models, but that is something else. It looks like the real thing has been hit by a shrinking ray from that Honey I Blew Up the Kids film.

Something a bit left field but currently working on this. 1:1 scale DL-44 blaster (Han Solo's obviously)

Needs lots of detailing and weathering but getting close.
