Just a couple of pics of progress for my latest model I am designing. Only this time, I have started to design and develop a new kit range by myself, rather than doing it for other manufacturers - so this is my first - and the reason I sold my TVR. This is, hopefully, the start of a new range of kits..

This is the British Naval Cutter Alert (1777) in 1:64 scale, made from laser cut wood, hot etched brass, wood strip and fittings designed and made from 3-d printing for the masters..

Amazing work as ever, Chris. Best wishes for the business. Your talent deserves success.

Here's my Revell T-28B Trojan in Redbull livery. Bit of a rough kit with raised panel lines. Cut some time doing wheels up, so decided to composite it into a photo as it won't sit right on the ground.
I thought i was the only one to do that ... how do you change the propeller's moving effect?

All OOB - although the box did come with PE grills, metal barell and individual track links.

Putting a few more aftermarket goodies on the next one smile

I picked these up today.

ACE Hand Crafted 1/64 scale HQ Pursuit Special as nicked by The Nightrider, and Max's panel van complete with incomplete mural as per the real thing (fact - the bloke they borrowed it from could only afford to get one side done).

They also do 1/43 versions of these 2 cars but since they were $120 EACH and these were (only) $100 for the pair I went for the smaller scale.

In Photoshop I made a selection of each propeller and applied a spin rotation on a new layer. Then just adjusted the opacity and masking to make it look realistic.
Best though would be to photograph without the propeller and add the propeller after.

Or simply blow or flick the propeller round while you're taking the picture...

Shame on you, Doc! A man of your attention to detail should never consider doing that without chocking the aeroplane first. And frankly, if you really must run such a powerful engine without someone in the cockpit, then it ought to be tethered too!

It's a really short pilot, and he's looking for something in the cockpit...

Then he needs remedial training! He’d be well advised to have the stick back to prevent the prop-wash lifting the tail and turning the prop into an expensive wardroom trophy! Yanks.......

Thank you! Was quite a decision, but you don't try.....

This is the first model I have developed where I haven't had to use the lathe to turn some of the master fittings (which will be cast for production), but drawn in CAD and 3-D printed. Almost invested in a 3-D printer myself, but it's a bit of a minefield, and I would hate to spend a quarter of my investment money on the wrong thing, so I use other specialist companies to print them off for me, for now..

My take on a scale model.....it’s roughly 1:25... ish smile Not the super detailed models you guys love, but I wanted to do my own thing and do a Bronze Artwork model of a Stratos. And is based on my own Hawk.
Originally made from clay and now produced as a limited edition in Bronze Resin.

My model of the Alert now has masts and rigging - just waiting for cast cannon barrels and anchors (which will be attached to thread hanging at front) to arrive to complete her..

Hell of a bowsprit. I would not like to be the poor sod who has to crawl to the end to sort out the jib.

Takom M3 Lee CDL, depicted as would have appeared at Remagen, weathering is probably a bit too heavy

No aftermarket bits on this one, tracks were a pain and about 1/2 a link too long on one side, only one part lost to the carpet monster.
