Not a bit of it! On models like this, weathering is everything and it looks really good.

The weathering looks great to me too

I have finished a few helicopters this year, here's a few pictures of one of them

This is the Italeri Merlin HM1 converted to HM2 standard and painted in patchwork effect to look like the in-service appearance of the Fleet Air Arm's well used machines

Just finished this little Airfix DH Vampire.
Nice little build.
Put a little extra detail in the cockpit like seatbelts and ejection handles.

Here is my latest, a Tamiya Panzer IV Ausf D. I need to get some practice in doing the figures to go in the hatches. They are not a strong point of mine.

The Matilda is to give a comparison of size. My next project is a Tamiya Quad & 25 Pdr gun with limber.

I do like Tamiya bikes.
They can seem a bit daunting halfway through, but they are worth the effort.

Perry Miniatures Peninsula War 95th Rifles "Chosen Men!" in 40mm scale

If you remember the Sharpe books or TV series with Sean Bean as the titular hero, that regiment from that period.

That charger has made me want to do a hot wheels version.

And the Iraq landrover scene has brought back some memories from 2004! Very accurate
