I know the bases don't match, I was using them to try out different weathering effects.

Hello!

Always been a Tamiya fan and enjoyed ‘buying this for my son’, he was 1 haha

Tamiya Sand Scorcher re-release 1:10, rc channel alloys and a black motor. The rest is pretty standard. It’s not particularly fast or agile, but it’s a lot of fun as everything seems so realistic especially the crash landings.

I probably ought to find some sting to tie the logs on with. I also managed to loose one of the tie downs to the carpet monster.

This was my most recent build, 1/18 Sunstar Escort Mk2 owned by Ken Block driven by Vaughn Gittin Jr in Gymkhana Grid. Decals drawn and car build by myself.

A labor of love but this project of many years is nearly done. It started out with a Tamiya Rockbuster I got for Christmas years ago, I came across it again a few years back and decided I wanted to build the ultimate RC Truck.

I’ve built this out of parts I’ve picked up over the last 2 years on eBay.

So here it is!

It’s retained the TLT axles, then I’ve got a Beckworks custom chassis, tobeecraft links, RC4WD trans, custom link mounts, 4 wheel steering, 140mm shocks, RC4WD track wideners and a few other parts.

Next is a better motor and radio gear!

I built that kit as a kid. I think there was a version with cannon in the nose? I remember modifying it to take all of the armaments rather than just the ones for a specific variant. I did the same with the Mosquito, but it was a bigger scale. I think they are somewhere in my parents attic.
