I have the Mini LST2 (sadly didn;t realise the Baja came with a LiPo battery and mine didn't until it was too late!) and have just upgraded it with a 1400ma Ni-MH battery and 2 x Losi "Insane 370" motors - it makes it absolutely fly and i highly recommend it. I considered going brushless but you're looking at £150 or so to do this and sadly i don't have a run way in my house to go 65mph down!!

Anyway, they're well worth the investment, have uprgaded most plastic parts to aly now and most standard aly to carbon and it's looking and going blisteringly well!

From talking to my local R/C specialist the current suggested RRP for the Losi brushless combo starts around £69. Thats the brushless motor and ESC (Xcelorin set).

As for alloy and carbon, mine currently looks like this...

Ah, I was looking at the Mamba set, thought I that would be the best. Where's the Losi specialist you mention? Have had very mixed thoughts on the online sellers - some are utterly useles and take 2 weeks to send parts (even though they're UK based) and some are just extortionately priced!! Having said that I think i need to curb my spending on it now - must have spent over £300 on it at least. Looks mean though, will get some pics on when I'm back from hols week after next.

Have a look at the Insane motors though, you could get them from the US relatively cheaply. How does your car handle? I have to say mine's skittish to say the least. I'm reluctant to mess around with the toe-in and camber though in case i get it horribly wrong and can't get it back again!!!
