bburago models

I've got about 15 or so of these kicking around in the loft, and I'm going to have to either stick them in storage or flog them on. Are they worth anything at all?

I think they are 1:18 scale, but could be wrong as I'm at work at the moment and can't get back to double check.

I've just had a quick look on ebay but the prices seem to vary quite a lot, so I'm not sure what to look for in collectable ones...

I was always under the impression that the bburago's were not worth an awfull lot second hand

Ebay is not the best bet for prices really... lots of very ambitious auction listings in the hope that "people will buy anything at any price if you claim it's rare and collectable".

Bburago models are not the best quality in the world. Forget all the hype that some try and sell then for on ebay, they rely on idiots who'll believe anything they read.

To be honest, if I had a batch of 1:18 scale Bbrugao models, the'd be put on ebay for £1 starting bid and leave it to see what people will pay for them. Some might go for a tenner, but most will either sell for £1 or £2 or not at all.

Once again, I feel you've thought these bits of metal might be worth a few quid, but in reality they are not.

Other alternative is to take them to your nearest children's hospital and donate them to the kids wards. You'll come away without a penny, but you'll have a better feeling in your heart and far less hassle than ebaying them.

I'm tempted to stick stuff on ebay, and if it doesn't sell take it to local charity shops or hospitals etc

If you put them on eBay they will sell but you will probably end up with very little money;
don't forget listing fees, final price fees and PayPal fees.
Then you will have to pack them carefully and then you have to take them to the Post Office,
and queue for ages ............. Childrens' Ward in a Hospital would be nice.

I've never had an issue with money being held. PayPal is the best way to buy/sell on eBay. Money comes through straight away and I drop it into my bank account
