Jesus..

Could you put a value on that? Four years of work by an incredibly skilled modellor and i doubt you could sell it for more than a couple of thousand quid!

Yes, it's impressive in its own way, but at that scale I've seen models which are just as good from arms length, PLUS they actually fly.

That Lightning model was on display at Telford a few weeks ago. I can tell you, in the flesh it was even better.

When looking at a picture, one doesn't appreciate the scale in which a model has been built. The Lightning is in 1/72 - which makes it even more impressive.

I saw the Tempest online a few months ago, i'm fairly sure the maker is a dentist from the far east, Japan or somewhere similar...

Super model anyhow!
