Finished building it ages ago and haven't touched it since.

What colour should I paint it?

I was thinking of finishing it in original yellow...

But then, the idea of painting it like the A Team van is kind of kool too.

I went for a metallic yellow, slightly darker than the normal hue.

And chromed wheels.

And a couple of coats of clear lacquer after the decals were on it.

Its the way forward, honest

I had one of them!

Mine was black, with headlights fitted. Then a "Aerostar" polycarb 1/12 body. Ran it with yellow oil filled dampers, full ballrace kit. ESC and no radio gear batteries (to lower the COG donchaknow biggrin ) If you take out the spacer between the motor and the gearbox you can fit a bigger (17T IIRC) pinion and get more speed (though no wheelies of course)

Found it the other day whilst having a semi clear out. In the bin it went, along with the radio gear and batteries. In fairness I hadn't used it for about 18 years!

Here's one of mine! Rollin Thunder, a tribute to the Monster van that the Lunchbox was actually based on

They come with it smile They have (relatively) quick acceleration and a high CoG, so Tamiya made a big thing that if you went backwards then nailed forwards they would wheelie
