Does anyone know where to get a good quality diecast model of a bugatti type57 atalante. I've had a look on eBay and some other sites but not found anything too great.

I was wondering if anyone more used to buying car models could suggest a source I hadn't thought about

I believe Brumm did one back in the 80's.

I have seen that one(although not that auction, so thanks for that), but I too was a little unsure of the quality and it's wuite hard to gauge fromt the photos i'be seen of it.

I always assumed the Franklin Mint stuff was top quality

I have to say that the Franklin Mint offerings I've seen are not top quality. One of my neighbours bought the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost they did a few years back and it was so bad he sent it back ... the replacement was even worse. He got a refund in the end.
