HMS Lancaster, latest vessel in the Shar2 fleet

Just thought I'd post some pics of my latest effort. The Type 23 frigate HMS lancaster. It's one of the latest offerings from White Ensign models in 1/350th scale.









I still have the rigging to do and change the position of the rear window on the Merlin. I completed the railings after these photos were taken as I didn't notice some were missing DOH!

Don't know much about ships but it looks good. Like the mini-Merlin on the helideck.

Any idea of class it is, not a Leander is it? Good model by the way.

This is probably a stupid question, but does it float? I.E. Could you keep it in a goldfish tank?

Doubt it as the hull is almost solid resin. But then who knows.

Unfortunately, no-one does a Type 42 in 1/350th. I do have a Type 45, which will be put on the stocks for building soon.
