R/C 7.2v batteries

Hey all,
I'm venturing into murky waters here, and this is possibly a long shot in the wrong forum!
But I was wondering if anyone could suggest (or was selling) where I can pick up cheap remote control car batteries and charger, I know I'm after a 7.2v Nimh or Nicd - I'm after something with a tamiya connector, or Nikko connector as its for a none r/c project and I'm trying to resist outlaying a large amount of cash!

there is a company i used to use on ebay - cant for the life of me remember the name though - sorry

if you have a look on ebay in the rc section it should be obvious they used to have hundreds of listings

What sort of car is it for and what will you be using it for? Will help us advise on capacity. I would avoid nicad as the performance is not as good as nimh and if you are just playing, then lipo is a bit too much. Look at modelsport.co.uk, apexmodels.co.uk and dms.com as they all do mail order and will have packs and chargers from a few quid to several hundred.... plus you get good support/warranty etc

I have a spare charger and for the right price would be willing to sell wouold also throw in a 2400mAh 7.2 battery as well

Ebay your best bet for cheapness or for new check out the sites sugested above.

Its for a bike light set-up, believe it or not, and it could all go horribly wrong, hence wanting to keep it extremely cheap! Ebay is proving most annoying, as I considered this project in March and everything on Ebay was cheaper! £30 is a bit more than I'd like to pay but thanks anyways!
