Didn't meet anyone I didnt already know
Did meet a lot who I did know
Lots of photos of the Wessex, next project for me, but I won't bore anyone with a day by day every blow struck thing with this one
A few other pictures (Mosquito canopy internal framework through the optically flat bomb aimer's screen, etc) after seeing Eric's Mossie some months ago, after all there's a quite good big model out there these days...
I didn't see a Britmodeller stand or I would have popped across for a natter, bugger it.
Saw a few missing aerials and trailing edge wicks needing replacement or repair on my Shackleton, still it's been there nearly thirty years and models ARE fragile. Think I will offer to repair it for them.
Bought nowt from the stallholders except a jar of 1000 grade Mr Surfacer to experimeent with.
Blimey this was a great show, well worth a visit and for me the parking was free.
A couple of very kind ATC Cadets took me off the road going in-site and parked my little green Midget as a kind of gate guardian along with a few dozen other cars, just past the Hunter Guardian
No Charge

I hope so - I'm looking for a Tamiya S2000.
Couple of old JTCC Tamiya kits i want. Primera and Accord. It was a great show, and a great location. Like Perdu, somehow we got in free. Superb standard of models on the whole. Here are some pics I took:
And finally an exhibit that was the subject of a recent PH discussion:
What aircraft is it?

Great pictures. Did you get the S2000 from the same chap selling the red 300ZX?
Is that wing from the Dominie?
I think we might have a winner? Is that wing from the Dominie?

Yup, it's a Dominie. Looked like it was only just out of service too.Is that wing from the Dominie?
The guy with the S2000 was in Hanger 1 IIRC, he had a few models in a box next to his stand. I didn't even see it, my pal spotted it. £15 on the ticket, he took £10. Bargain! He had a few other kits in there, but I didn't notice a 300ZX.
