93 reg 205 GTI

can anyone point me in the right direction to get some info on the last of the GTi's. i want to know if a dark green 93 plate car is a special edition and if so what is it??
The carpets and seats are green if that helps...

I think that's just how a later one finished in Sorrento came. Is it one with a cat?

I have one of the limited edition ones but they were earlier, 89-90. Looks a nice car regardless.

That's how they finished - the only extra they got was the cat. converter.

I think the seller almost gets to make up their own number on one of those at the moment.

As any car a lot depends upon condition, owners, originality and history but I think somewhere between £10 & £15,000 would be likely in a private sale.

My friend has an L plate in steel grey with the green carpet and trim and of course the cat

Hopefully the person who bought it is aware of the fact it isn't 56k mileage....(speedo change which seems to have been removed from the service history since I sold it.....)

My1990 H plate 205 GTi 1.9 was Sorrento Green but had a different interior to that if I recall correctly.

I have a 91 sorrento green that's the limited edition one (you can see it in "show us your frenchies thread")

Its got power steering, full grey leather with red stitching, grey carpet, grey dash etc

I've been told that the colour of the limted run in green is slightly different and has a slightly different colour code too.

You could order Sorrento green i believe as the colour was popular but I think it came with you colour seats etc

Either way that car looks great to me!
