2005 laguna limp home mode

Hi there, I got the above car as a run around for my partner and now and again the car goes into limp home mode and a spanner comes up on the dash says check injectors or something, although the car runs fine otherwise so assume injectors are ok. turn the car off and start up again and its fine for a day or 2, then all of a sudden it will do it again, any ideas please chaps?
