Clio 182 leaking steering fluid

Just got £600 worth of Clio 182 , looked under the bonnet and the power steering container is covered all over the cap , down the side and the pipes underneath.

Pedal feels really soft , any ideas ?

AFAIK, the power steering system is separate from the brakes / clutch, so a leaky power steering should not affect your pedal feel.

Is there enough fluid in the tank? Is it diminishing with time, or is it just a case of an overfilled tank that leaked out once, and is now OK?

i only picked it up yesterday so not sure how quick it's loosing it , it's at the max level at present.
