That's a ridiculous deal Joe. Good move. Enjoy it.

I'm finding it tricky getting a definitive service interval for the 300 Trophy. Any owners able to confirm? Just trying to decide if the maintenance deal on a lease I'm looking at is worth it.

Thank you.

Anyone with a recent lease able to dig out their T&C's to check if there are any service requirements around using authorised dealers for servicing?

Renault are doing a deal for £9PM that includes all the services for the first 3 years. I had a quote for the 1st oil change and is was around £200 so considering the car needs servicing at least every 12 months it was a bit of a no brainer.

You can only have that if you finance on PCP with RCI I think

Interesting that it's on an annual service interval. My previous gen Megane 275 is 2yrs or 12k. Always felt 2yrs is too long (I'm no expert).

I was able to get that - service and tyres as well amazingly for about £8-£9 on one of the recent lease deals. As was said, a complete no brainier.

Had the car for a couple of days now and overall loving it. Will post a more detailed opinion when I’ve formed one!

Yes each lease company will have their own service/maintenance/tyres deals going, the £9 from Renault is only when you finance with them.

I think I'm going to order one next week. Anyone with small kids (<5) have a Trophy. I'm a bit worried it'll be too harsh a ride for them. I've asked the broker about the servicing requirements around whether it requires main dealer servicing. What tyres do the recent Trophy cars arrive with?

Bridgestone Potenza S001 (I think!) IIRC the 19" Fuji wheels came with S007.

The ride really isn't that harsh IMO. I take my 4 year old in my 17 year old Civic and that's harsher IMO.

I've got a 3 and 5 year old and have no issues with them in the trophy.

I got it in June and it came with s001's which really let it down. As far as I know that is what they still come with.

Ours has done about 5k and will need tyres soon, but I assume that people probably drive it a bit more, er, frantically than their own!

I am on Yokohama AD08RS and have covered 4500 miles including two track days with quite a few laps. Fronts are still on 5mm from 8mm so really impressed, 50% wear.
The OE Contis would have been FUBAR by now though.
I strongly recommend the Yokis actually, even for road use. But that only works on 18' wheels.

Really, at that rate the maintenance is a no brainer. I've not had to replace tyres on my last 3 leases.

On mine I switched the fronts to the back at 4k and the inside edge of the fronts had about 1k left before they'd be down below 1.6mm I'd guess.

Rears were fine so I'm hoping to get about another 3k to then swap the lot for something decent.

Mine needed new tyres after 5k.

Due to an encounter with a pothole destroying the other 2, I've now got PS4S all round. Much better than the Bridgestones that came with it.

Hard to believe my car will be 2 years old on April. One of the first registered in 2018.

Work/3 year old/cycling and running has ment I haven’t really had a chance to enjoy it but it’s officially run in now clicking over 1k heading to cars and coffee last Sunday.

Hardly seems worth owning to do 500 miles a year.
