Does the pre facelift Mk4 come with 18s or 19s as standard with the cup pack?
Every review I've seen suggests that the 19s are standard yet the leased cup that has just turned up has the 18s fitted
I'm actually happy with the cup and 18s but I need to be sure it's a cup that has turned up. Lease Co and dealership aren't proving overly helpful.

Has it got red brake calipers?

A lesson there in not trusting what magazine reviews state and paying closer attention to the brochure.
Fortunately it has turned out for the best.

Any thought's on what the 'best' Perso settings are and if indeed they make a noticeable difference?
I’d have to double check exactly what I’ve got them set to - from memory it isn’t totally clear what each setting does without reading the manual (which I was too lazy / stubborn to do). I wanted race mode 4ws (which increases the speed at which the rears counter steer for extra agility) but with the lighter standard steering. I find the sport / race steering unnaturally weighted / a bit gloopy. From memory I wasn’t sure which option to select for the 4ws race mode though (the option is called driveline or something vague). I went race mode exhaust originally which was fun for a while but I started to feel a bit chavvy so went for normal But it’s all personal preference - others prefer the heavier steering for example.

Boring question, does everyone’s windscreen end up wet on the inside on cold mornings?
I always have the left corner proper wet before I’ve even started the fans etc, pretty annoying
yes mine has had mild condensation issues since day 1. I've got two big packs of desiccant I leave on the dash which help.I always have the left corner proper wet before I’ve even started the fans etc, pretty annoying

Hopefully the change in steering just affects the weight and not the quickness.

I've asked this before but not had any luck in sorting it yet - does anyone have a confirmed way of disabling the speed alert warning sound on the meg with the standard infotainment please? I know some said they'd taken in to a dealer to sort but when I spoke to my local dealer they were useless and wanted best part of hundred quid just to look at it so chose not to risk it with them. It's driving me crazy. Cheers
Took me 2 months to figure this out!Select the Sat Nav as your main screen, NOT the Sat Nav/radio split. On the bottom left hand side of the screen is what looks like a forward direction arrow but it is actually a sub menu. Select this and you should be able to turn the volume down/off.

I posted a couple of pages ago that I'd bought a 2019 Trophy, but sadly that particular deal fell through.
I'm now looking at a similar car - Flame Red Trophy manual with Recaro interior. This one is only £500 more but is 20 plate with delivery mileage - on the face of it seems like a bargain.
The only sticking point is it lacks the Bose stereo upgrade. My last 3 cars have all had premium sound systems, would I regret not holding out for one with Bose?
Also with it being a non-Bose car it also has the smaller infotainment screen. This isn't as much of a deal breaker but it does look a bit out of place and potentially fiddlier to use.
The issue I have is I want a manual (currently 6 on Autotrader), must have the Recaro seats and Bose upgrade, and preferably Flame Red. Not a lot of choice and I may have to compromise somewhere, or just wait it out.

My Trophy has standard screen and sounds. Not tried one with Bose but standard system is better than expected. Certainly better than standard Audi S4 system that I had before the Trophy. As for the screen, it's ok and works well enough. I think it looks better in reality than photos suggest. You'll be enjoying the car too much to worry about the screen anyway - it will certainly keep you entertained!I'm now looking at a similar car - Flame Red Trophy manual with Recaro interior. I'd be interested to hear fellow owners' opinions on how much of a natural tendency to drift left on the steering there is.
In common with many modern FWD cars it feels as if there a constant desire for the car to move to left without a conscious steering input.
My previous 208 GTi and Abarth 595, both owned from new had this 'feature'.
How adjustable is the geo to account for this?

Cars are meant to drift to the left. It's a safety thing, so if you lose consciousness or whatnot, they coast to the pavement rather than oncoming traffic. In common with many modern FWD cars it feels as if there a constant desire for the car to move to left without a conscious steering input.
