Grand Scenic/Espace for three Child Family-Pitfalls?

Morning All,
We are expecting number three and need to upgrade the corolla to fit three child seats, whether Isofix or otherwise. Now my wife likes the look of the Grand Scenic and I prefer more perhaps the Espace (we live in Switzerland). The problem is, anyone I mention buying a Renault to tells me that the electrics will give innumerable problems and the car will be the bane of our lives. However, a few points in Renault favour:
1. Out here, every second car is a Renault so if they are that bad why do people keep buying them.
2. They are very nice inside and very nice to drive;
3. We have a main dealer garage right up the street to potentially help us if needed.
Sorry if this is an 'eyerolly' moment but can you advise what the potential pitfalls are, (if any) or what to look out for with buying one of the above. We are thinking a Petrol, so for the Grand Scenic the 1.3 or for the Espace the 1.6, and something around 1 year old or less so 2018/19
