Peugeot 205 GTi factory fitted bodykit?

Just been looking through some old photos, and found one of my mums old Pug 205 GTi. It was pretty special - it had a full factory fitted bodykit, which seems to be pretty rare as I've never seen one like this since! Does anyone know how many cars had the bodykit fitted, and if there are still many around? Looks like some nice wheels as well!

ahhh, an early 1.6. cracking cars! I had an early 1.9 (as opposed to the later ones with the clear rear lights and moved fog light). ok I'm showing my anorachness now. Sorry to be absolutely no use to the thread at all, I just wanted to reminise a bit.

What year was the car (there's no age plate on it) ?!

looks like a 205 monte carlo - limited edition 205 gti which came with that kit

Yup, that was my mums private plate back then, no idea what its on now as it was sold I'll ask what year it was when she gets in from work.

Thanks, I'll look that up, although I don't think it was a special edition. I'll see if I can find any pictures of it with its original plate on. We have very few pictures of that car though, not even one of the front end!

to be honest i think it could be a Gutmann.

I had a 205 for 4 years, only got rid of her two months a go!

The side skirts are for sure Gutmann but i dont think the wheels are... see pic.

im not too sure on the spoiler either.....

ive just searched through my collection of all things 205 related and the best ive found is an article about skip browns GTI-S conversions which mentions a self designed bodykit made by an SBC subsidary, costing £373.75 inc vat.

Yes I have one!!

I recently bought a 1.6 205 GTI SE with fully fitted factory body kit-side skirts, rear valance, lowered, rear spoiler. Cherry red. I know the 1.9 only had 300 made, im unsure of the 1.6.

Shes completly standard, well apart from ICE. Stunning little motor.
