K Tec Racing upgrades to Mk1 172

Had been suffering since selling Noble 2.5 - now cured!
Recently bought a low mileage MK1 for £4600.
Took it to Ktec in Hants and had the following;
group n remap - smooth idle and revs to 7,800.
sports cat and exhaust
piper cross viper induction kit
Not cheap at £1250 for the lot BUT the car is transformed.
I have no doubt I would have had trouble in the Noble keeping up with myself on a b road.
It does 70 in second, 100 in third, and god knows what in fourth and top.
I thoroughly recommend this upgrade - the car looks standard - the only give away being the more aggressive exhaust rumble at idle. It's about a 10% power upgrade to about 185, so not much, but ideal for this car - no more torque steer than standard, and doesn't load the insurance premium. There is more pull right across the rev range, and with the higher change up speeds, you are flying - the induction noise is fabulous.
So for £5850 I now have a little stormer, and a happy bank manager!
