Walking past one of these each day to get to my office. Very pretty machine. Anyone know how many were made? NEver seen one before so figuring they aren't that common?

I don't know how many were made, but Henri Chapron built a few (the french bodywork builder) and they're rather expensive.

Refers to 15 in the UK.

Chapron built them all, at first he bought cars from Citroen to convert, he'd strip them and sell off the surplus parts. This was until he was given the contract to produce the 'factory' convertilble

1365 factory convertilbles were produced.
770 were DS19's
483 were DS21's
112 were ID's
50 were exported to the UK

They are now very expensive in comparison the the Saloon and very beautiful too.

He did produce other styles of convertibles of the DS, but no more than 100 examples.
