Newbie here wavey

Just wondered if you guys in here may be able to help.

Recently every time I go to close the door as I get out of my car, I get a static shock! Its only been happening for the last few weeks so something must've changed.

Any suggestions as to what/where I should check (earth???) would be greatly appriciated.

Cheers.

Venom.

I believe even a change in the weather is enough to make this effect intermittent(?)

Anyway, to get out of your car without gettting zapped, do this: readit
Open your door but stay in your seat,
grab hold of the top of your door frame with your right hand,
THEN put your right foot on the ground to get out.
KEEP hold of the top of the door frame whilst exiting and shut the door. No zap - I promise.

lol, I'm gonna look like a weirdo getting out of my car like that, but I suppose its better than pulling my hand away sharply while shouting f*ck! Which is what I'm doing at the moment. Cheers again. thumbup
