Any particular diesel?
Be a bit pointless on old mechanical units but not sure what it will do to a common rail unit.

Sorry, yes I didn't want to be specific as it'd narrow my audience too much. I'm talking about a bang up to date turbo diesel.

Well, most new diesels run the Bosch EDC system which in effect is a remappable unit by itself. Most tuners can 'chip' these via the diagnostic port and have great results.

So unless you are looking to do something specific to the motor that requires a piggyback module a unichip is not worth the hassle as the standard system can compensate for most upgrades including higherflow injectors and bigger turbos.
