RE: Peugeot builds 4WD soft-roader
Discussion
From our own breakdown attendance figures (please be advised that most are older cars out of manufacturers warranty) I've calculated a whole load of stats. I take total number of breakdowns per make - obviously, this is a crude measure so we have to look into total number of Citroens in the UK - I can make approximations based on current sales figures.
I've found that in the Birmingham area Citroens are just above Rover and below Alfa Romeo - right near the bottom. The most reliable being Nissan and the usual Japanese makes.
A bit OT – but the Ferraris and Maseratis are astonishingly unreliable with particular reference to the Quattroporte- I don't know how many they've sold in the UK let alone how many there are in the West Midlands region but we've attended in excess of forty unique Quattroporte in under a year - that's phenomenal IMO.

That quote was, as you say, astonishing! So I checked, and Citroen was 26th in the manufacturers league table, 7th from bottom. See it yourself at www.whatcar.com/news-special-report.aspx?NA=214562&EL=3121185#
