Never having owned a Frech car let alone a Citroen I would welcome some advice as I am considering the purchase of a C6. I took one out for a test drive this week and was very impressed with the car and really could not fault it. What I would like to know is:

a) what is the reliability of Citroen models ?
b) how good is the dealer network ?

And finally will it be worth almost nothing when I come to sell it in 3 years at about 60k miles ?

As with most Dealers, they vary, My local Citroen dealer is Thompson First, Dudbridge, Stroud And they are first class.
Larger Citroens tend to be better built and more reliable, I got a Xantia Activa with 170,000 miles on it, and the only things to go wrong are the things I've done to it!!
Bloody Huge things those C6's!!

The predicted retained residuals after 3 years are between 30-40% dependant on model, which believe it or not is comparable to/better than Jaguar's S-Type and Volvo's S80. Not as strong as BMW 5 Series, but a reasonable performance IMHO

You simply must by one. You must.

Be an individual and stand apart from the crowd.

A C6 passed me on the M6 Toll and I'd say he was doing somewhere between 110-120mph. It looked so graceful and fit for purpose.

Please please buy one

I've driven a C6 and must say it's very smooth, especially compared to it's german rivals. The part I was most impressed with is the rear window and the way it curves inwards - looks great. Regarding your dealers, you should get extra special treatment from them.

As a side not, believe there is a special monthly repayment scheme at £399 pm.

Beautiful cars... If only I had the money (or they were on my company car list), I would be in there like a shot!
