I need to pop the side indicators (repeaters) out on the gf's son's 106 quicksilver. Are they secured from behind the inner arches or do they just pop out with careful pulling from the outer wing?

I just need to get to the wiring to scotchlok a couple of wires on for his new mirrors as they have indicators built in.

Any tips greatly appreciated.

weeping After-market mirrors and nasty scotchlocks make baby jesus cry. weeping

But yes, they just pop out. Might need a little twist too.

They are probably the same as on a 306, which come out with some dubious use of a flat screwdriver.

What was the problem with getting yours out? Forewarned is forearmed as they say.

Prise them out with a flat head screwdriver, then be ing careful not to drop the wire back inside the wing!

Typical bloody french, the wire is just too short to pull out of the hole comfortably!

Slide them forward then pop the back outwards with a screwdriver
Or drop the mudshield down (torx20) screws and stick your arm up and squeeze the 'J' clip at the back
