My 205 is a fantastic car that i have owned for three years it has broken down once oh and the clutch has NEVER gone . i have friends that own saxos and they wish they had never bought them unless you enjoy waiting for the aa man why own one. You don't delete posts because of that though.

Discussion is good, better to understand peoples views than just shout them down/out and be ignorant, so even though I don't agree with what you said it's still valid and it's interesting to understand your point of view smile

You've deleted your original post - and then when you post to explain why you say effectively the exact same thing. And defend your original posts anyway. Strange approach to forum usage I'd say.

Only one way to answer that....'whatever'!

I don't own a Saxo, nor a 205...never will. My clutch comment was just a tease at the way you'd skulked off and taken your ball (posts) with you. If you come on here mindlessly slating a very well selling car, you're probably going to get some stick - even if it's just people on the wind up (like me). I've nothing against the 205 - I think I've already said that, but I've nothing against most cars. Your stereotyping of Saxo owners as people who stick tat on their cars is incredible, given how few standard 205's are left!

BTW - plenty of 205s going for 500 quid...if that's your idea of holding value...

I own a VTR

Im not a Burberry loving, baseball cap wearing chav (actually shirt and tie most of the time) I bought it because I wanted something with a bit of poke, that would handle well on a budget!

It fits the bill like a glove!!!!!

Saxos have a bad reputation, but they tick so many boxes! I didnt care about the image. Being a trainee surveyor, I had stick off all the old b@stards in work about it, and the bird hates it but it doesnt matter!

I LOVE IT!
