2007 Bentley Azure

Hi

I am looking at a 2007 Azure II tomorrow. Pristine and 14000 km.

I am familiar with the previous Conti R based Azure but this 2nd generation car is Arnage based and I don't know much about the Arnage. Is there anything I should look out for ?

Any insight into the main pitfalls would be much appreciated.

Have a look at the PH Arnage buyers guide on this site. The Azure you are looking at is a later model and a lot of bugs were sorted by then. But the guide will tell you everything to look for. I have no prior knowledge of the Azure but I would check the operation of the hood exhaustively. The hood when folded on the old R based Azure took up a lot of boot space so this is worth considering

Graham Hull (ex-RR&B chief stylist) in his book, brilliantly analogises the folding of a modern hood (a la Azure) as like folding a mattress, such is the complexity and numerous layers. Thought that was a great way of describing it.
