There appears to be three different Driver Assistance Packages available on the 2015/16 Ghost II. Can anyone tell me what they include and how important are they?

Any other “must haves” for this model?

I think that it is worth investing in the upgrades. I also think that you would be wise to have the RR monogrammed headrests, and lambs wool rugs, and if the rear seats are going to be used much the rear headrest cushions and individually adjustable rear seats. Side view cameras are not a bad idea. Are the tables and tv tuner standard? I would also have the wine cooler between the rear seats. EWB is exquisite to travel in and with it you get the panorama sunroof and a few other things which are normally extra. Please don't spec piano black veneers they look so naff.

The other thing which looks magnificent is the contrasting painted bonnet.

Bespoke is a big thing, and if you are an oil sheik or Nigerian diplomat and have the dosh why not, but in reality the standard car is very very good. A few modestly priced touches as suggested above will give you a fantastic car.

Night vision is a bit of gimmick, lane guidance can be turned off. ACC can be an annoyance depending on your driving style, ACC would be nice if you could switch from active to normal cruise but that's not the case, depending on where you drive its worth thinking about, it only drives as well as the numpty in front of you, it would not be first on my tick list

As mentioned, squidgy headrests & carpets is a must have! I'd go for an entry level EWB over a spec'd up standard car.

That is good advice. The ACC is quite a sophisticated system which also uses the brakes to a stop if needs be and you could even track the car and it will corner as fast as it is designed to, braking and accelerating without any driver input other than steering. I suppose you either like it or you don’t.

On cruise it will only lift off on turning in, if it detects too much turn it will kill the cruise, it does not brake for you unless you set the esp off & only then will only brake enough to stabilise the car.

If the car was based in Europe/USA/empty roads I'd spec ACC any day, for the UK personally I'd only have normal cruise.

I don’t question your knowledge for a moment, CPTS, but that wasn’t exactly my experience on a black badge Dawn which I had the privilege of taking round Goodwood. ESP was off and the car was in Low. If you are going into a bend, touching nothing except the steering, sure, it will brake but then it will bring the speed back up as soon as it judges appropriate, to the preset cruise speed, and if you set the cruise speed high enough you can be cornering at a fair pace. I appreciate that is a benefit you are only going to get on a track.
