Good Morning James,
I am biased, since I have no experience of the RR clubs. The BDC London and South East region is very active in organising outings. Coming up are lunch at the Leander Rowing Club at Henley-on-Thames, and the Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London. In September there's a Bentley Boys supper at the Royal Thames Yacht Club and of course, the London to Brighton Veterans rally in November, at which we have a prime viewing spot.
In addition, we have a race day at Silverstone on 4th August.
We will shortly be revamping our web site, but if you persevere you will fine plenty of events at www.bdcl.org
